So i got CivV today despite the Steam.
So far no problems with it at all works like a charm...
Stilll wouldnt have been my choice (3rd party software) but ok.
DLC still kinda pisses me off but ok i wont buy just hope a good old fashioned expansion pack will include all off it eventually...
The absence of Spain and Inca in favor of Ottomans and Iroquois still seems stupid to me but ok its a choice i guess...
I got the game right away and fired up a quick start.
Guess who i got... good old Monty. No Monty against me always good!
Now 70 turns in 2 cities, got some horses and ready to crush Alexander (Chieftain loaded lol) I allied Budapest (who Persia said they would protect so that should be good)
no units so far though they did provide me with cotton.
No graphical issues whatsoever running everything at the highest settings with my I7 930 ATI 5800 series new computer...
So far a job well done i dare say. Unfortunately i wont be able to play anymore this weekend but ok thats the way it is. Just wanted to let you guys know!
