Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. I'm the host. We're 4 in total. Two players A and B have problems connecting to each other. It usually takes 1-2h to set a game up. That's too much. It's odd if it's a firewall issue as it works at times. Usually when A reboots. Otherwise A gets this message when he tries to join when B is in:

"This player may not have his firewall environment properly configured."

and vice versa.

Why' s that?

We tried different hosts. I couldn't connect to any of the three other players then. And they couldn't either. Connecting to host. Then no response.

How do we fix this?

Try to set up a IP connection if gamespy isnt working. Or, wait...

It's not via gamespy. It's Direct IP. BTS (not the 3.13 version).

this is exactly my problem too. sometimes its good sometimes its not.

sometime one of us has to join first, sometimes that does not work.

any ideas to fix this.

Try opening ports and checking your firewall settings to make sure you have all the needed rights for the game to run. If all else fails, you can try using Hamachi.
