Lets face it, XCOM Enemy Unknown is a classic.
Back when Firaxis made good games eh?
Took a break from Civilization 7. Frankly its become rather boring for me. Especially in the late game.
Anyway, although I have had Xcom Enemy Unknown on my Steam account for years. I did have problems with the game on Steam recently.
Xcom, being an old game has problems with super wide screen resolutions. I play at 3440 x 1440, and trying to play at that resolution resulted in mouse pointer issues.
Anyway, I had heard that the GOG version of the game may be more stable. It came up for sale dead cheaply, so I bought the complete pack on GOG for peanuts.
As it happened, I still had mouse pointer issues with 3440 x 1440 resolution. But dropping down to 2560 x 1440 was more stable with not much mouse issues. However, I did have some issues when throwing grenades.
Anyway, this was my progress after completing a full play through on the GOG version.
47% achievements in one play through. Not bad.
So, this is what's taken me away from Civ 7 at the moment.
Now to try it with Xcom 2 lol.
Oh and if anybody can fix the mouse issues, please let me know?
