I would love to play a game like this:
It is modern days. Your country has just been founded - maybe getting its freedom from another country. What should you do to hold it together and advance its citizens? Should you make a strong army, build schools, build roads, transform the jungle to farmland, have a large public sector?
In 2011 the state of Southern Sudan was created - a poor african country with a problematic relation to its neighbour Sudan. It didn't go well, but as a Civ-veteran you would like to give a try - maybe you could have made it a success?
Maybe the idea is more interesting than the actual game, and maybe the game would be a matter of political views, I don't know. But I sure would like to test it. I hope somebody will make it - unfortunately I don't have any skills or experience myself other than many years of playing Civ.
