Now can we get the old forum's Christmas style back too?

I was wondering the same thing. I loaded up an old archived version that I saved, which I've put a screenshot of below:

    Spoiler :

I can upload the whole file (and I might have a few from other threads as well) if it would be useful for someone re-producing the style. My archives are MHT files, which can be viewed in either Opera 12 (but not 15+) or Internet Explorer 6+.

As you can tell from the date on the archive, I often used this theme regardless of what time of year it was.

Hell no, I'm still waiting for a version of CFC with a dark background colour to be reinstated.

Since time immemorial, the unjolly have lived in fear of this season. Where for most of the year, those without the Christmas spirit survive unnoticed, unremarked upon, now comes the time when the Scrooges are laid bare before the world. For this is the time of rosy checks and jolly laughs, of joy-filled gatherings and cheery greetings.

    'TIS THE SEASON!

    Let's get these smilies started.

Do they know it's Christmas time at all?

We need the X-mas smileys :yup:

At the very latest install them by the 25th of November, for the full month of X-mas

Canadians get all that Thanksgiving/turkey stuff over and done with on the second Monday of October. So turkey dinner was a month ago. The stores started putting out Christmas stuff even before Halloween (seriously, I was in a dollar store before Halloween and the stock clerk was busy putting out the Christmas stuff on one end of their "holiday" aisle and there were still Halloween items on the other end).

I just found out that all my InvisionFree forums are going to migrate, and that means we lose the smileys. I don't know how many smileys my co-admin uploaded to the Doctor Who forum, but it was a hell of a lot! So I spent last night downloading several DOZEN of them, not to mention the icons, backgrounds, and taking screenshots.

This is the second forum in a week that has asked for me to be made a mod.
That's some effort. My hat's off to you even if I personally detest the Christmas imagery.

Also, I have some leftover emoticons I've scrounged somewhere. I can send them to you if you like.
