Is there a way to make resources appear/be usable as time goes on?
Example- early BC era the resourses available might be fish, gold, silver, jewels animals etc, but as time passes other resources such as oil or coal might become available for use, might be triggered by things like when a player reaches an industrial age they can use the fossil fuels (and therefore see/use them on the map). Other possible resources would be things like uranium or other futuristic compounds. Would make for an interresting game as you'd start hunter-gatherer style and work your way up.
