I'm confused, have we swapped civics like required? We're in Tribalism alright, but I can switch civics immediately so we didn't switch in the last five turns. :dunno: Doesn't matter, I will switch to Slavery soon enough. It's also turn 76, so I'll play one less to even things up.

Turn 4: IW is in, start AH. Iron is plentiful but not yet inside our borders. Timbuktu starts a settler. I will leave the city position for team discussion.

Turn 6: Djenne starts a worker. The spots we have decided on need a lot of improvement.

Turn 7: Villagers provide us with a warrior.

Turn 11: AH is in, start Mysticism for monuments.

    Turn 13: Stonehenge BIAFAL.

Turn 15: The western scout finds a yellow border. Whoever it is, they're from Africa. The settler is 1 turn from completion and so is Mysticism. I revolt to Slavery, but the pizzeria is still not open. We're yet unproductive and uncultured, but at least we have fish.

The next settler goes to the blue dot in page 4 most likely.

And I did change civics for slavery in the last turn of my game! So, sloganbear did change to tribalism again during his game??? Well, I think TLO said that we didn't need to change civics if the option are the initial civics, like tribalism...
So I guess that sweetybear changed to tribalism - unnecessarily? And, why didn't you have the 5 turns wait? Maybe he forgot that the rules changed and you gotta change civcs only in your last turn? hehe!

TLO: Please, update the rules in page 1!

OK, first iwant to say something.

If you spot something unbelievable in my report, then it isn't me. It's my brother, trying to play tricks on me. He already fooled me and posted a fake game in the MLG3 game. (even if he tried to fool me, he should know better then BW with IW in hunts simultaneously  )

    I'll be playing shortly.

    Thelastone: I have an idea.

    Spoiler :
the secret word has been deleted.

When you have read this, let me know and I'll delete the spoiler. If we see a post without the secret word, we'll know it's your evil brother, who needs to go back to surfing for pornography.

Also: I didn't switch to tribalism.

Managed to stick it just before work :p

So here we are for the next 14 turns of glorious pizza empire.
As I've seen no tech reco by the group, I went the Oracle path during this turnset - although it might already be too late. I hope not, and we still have three forests around Timbuktu to help us.

Anyway, I stopped one turn earlier, a new regional restaurant manager is up and waiting in Timbuktu for orders to establish a franchise nearby.

    T91
(IT) Mysticism -> Polytheism ( to learn our gods - Origano, Basilic, Pepperoni... )
    Settler@Timbuktu -> Settler
I decided for it because we need land! And fast! Defenders of the pizza country will be built afterwards.

    T92
We meet our future customer, no doubt about it, unless he chooses chi-chi's land to his immediate west :

    T94
A garçon is up in Djenne, we start a monument to the glory of Mansa, the pizza inventor.
Garçons are very busy cleaning junk wood around to make it as fast as possible.

    T96
Chi-chi's are going land-crazy, and have almost taken our blue spot. We have to settle 1S, on the dye, to lessen the pressure on our concurrence. We surely don't want their mafia inside our borders in a few turns.

    T101
Some unsatisfied customer finds our franchise less reknown in the world, far behind Izzies Paellas, Monty Chi Chi's, Pacal Lama Fresh Meat and even Bismarck's Wurst. It's a shame for a great quality pizza of ours:

    T103
Bad news coming from our northern concurrent, one of his fellows is a champion in a regional chili-eating contest... We will have to consider another thing than spread our great food to their lands now.

    T104
And here we are, with a whole turn to play, a regional manager up in Timbuktu and waiting for the Board decisions about an implentation to do.

To help the Board, here is some nice countryside, full of richness and where no competitor has already settled its outpost:

I'd say red, pink and light blue. Order to be done later.

    ------------------

OK, the Priesthood-way is a VERY long shot, but I figured it might work with people like Monty and Izzy around. I think our last friend is Genghis or Sitting Bull, judging by the color of his border. To be confirmed.

The N-W expansion is a right way - there is plenty of nice open space ( see screenie about the Aztec champion to see the immediate north to the Rice-Gold spot). Monty and Bismarck seem to be in competition for some free patch of land to the east, Pacal seems well boxed, and it's just a matter to be faster then Izzy and Sitting Bull (?).

Okay, maybe it's light green. It's 1W of gold, on the shore.

As for Oracle it's for CoL shot of course. I think Confu Pizza will be just as spicy as we need it ;)

Do we still have only slavery? Then we don't need to keep switching yet hehe. But when we get CoL...

OK what order for the cities do we want though?

Red is First for the iron, and then it's a tough desicion. I think Light green is overall better, but Pink has Elephants AND Horses.

Pink will be better in war terms.
Light Green would be better in terms of production purposes.
Getting them both would be hard.
AND if we get one first, the either izzy/monte will taker the other one. :(

Let's take the light green? I prefer to deal with Monty than Izzy! Anyway, maybe if we spam settler a bit... Hum.

Red would be my priority. We're playing with fire REXing next to Monty with no military to speak of. In BtS the AIs can and will rush you in the BCs.

Other than that take as much land as found as many cities as we can handle. There's no particular hurry to tech quickly.

OK, I am c0nfus3d. I meant the one more near of Monty. That would be...blue? my mind is :crazyeye: with 3 SGs at the same time!

I shall refrain from giving my opinion next time unless I have the save on at the same time!

And I thought we just settled the red...?

It's a new red Arlborn :crazyeye:

I know what you mean, I was talking about Izzy instead of Boudica in Pericles SG earlier today

I also prefer light green to the pink. I prefer close down Izzy surely and fast - she will be boxed in her corner - Monty seems to prefer going south-east towards us, Pacal and Bismarck.
