This album is good.

Have you heard it? Do you like it?

Yeah, it came out a few years after I graduated high school. Free Fallin' was hugely popular, but I personally wasn't that fond of that song. I Won't Back Down and Runnin' Down A Dream were far better, in my opinion.

I've never actually heard the album start to finish, just many of the songs on it.

I saw Tom and the Heartbreakers (I know, they're not on the album...) in the summer of '05. Pretty good show, but Tom doesn't have the personality on stage that the guys in Aerosmith do. I'd recommend seeing him, but I probably wouldn't run out to see him again, depending on how much a ticket is.

I'll just say one thing... Full Moon Fever gave me Pettyitis.

Spoiler :
Pettyitis- A term applied to all females who experience a sudden need of seeing/hearing Tom Petty all the time. Usually followed by the urge to squeal uncontrollably at him when watching him.

Cure- No cure available

I am so glad that no girl I know has anyboy-itis.

LOL, after Runnin' Down a Dream, Jeff and Mike are making animal noises (you have to listen close)...

Spoiler :
TOM: Hello CD listeners. We've come to the point in this album where those listening on cassette or records will have to stand up -- or sit down -- and turn over the record. Or tape. In fairness, those listeners will now take a few seconds before we begin side two.
(more animal noises)
Thank you. Here's side two.

I like him. Cool!
My fav. song of Petty is "Mary Jane's last dance".

:)

I like Tom's cover of I'll Feel a Whole Lot Better
