Tool - CIV 4 -All Mod Chooser 2025 -Version 2.9 - now with game resolution + custom resolution

Hi to all,



In former times I had a Mod chooser for Civ4, but unfortunately, this one is sometimes not working, especially reading the newer CIV Path like Steam or Civilization IV Complete from the registry.

So I did know my own one - without registry, programmed with Purebasic V6.12

You can chose between Language german, english, french, spanish and russia.

You have to select the path of your installation manually, like path "Civilization IV Complete" so the program is able to read all mods for Civilization IV, BTS, Warlords and Colonization.

With the game button, you cose which game you like to load the mods. Path of game and mods is changed automaticly.

The Path and the last selected values are stored in an ini file - file stored in AppData\Local\CIV4ModChooser\civ4-modchooser.ini
So they are restored when opening the Mod choser again

New in Version 2.6: Now option for steam Versions of Civ or just BTS, Bugfixes, option to close tool after civ4 start

New in Version 2.9: option to select windowed mode and the resolution for game start and also to use a custom resolution
! some resolutions do not work in fullscreen mode, but work in windowed mode !

Example of text issues, English is spelled wrong, not that it matters much, but what sucks is it adds extra text automatically so no matter which folder I select it's an incorrect path every time meaning it doesn't work for Steam users who install on different drives. It adds Civ4 when it shouldn't. The correct path would be D:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Sid Meier's Civilization IV Beyond the Sword\Beyond the Sword\Mods

Hi, so finally I did some changes/fixes as requested. Actual Version is V2.6
colonization should work now. Also a steam Version. translations checked . checkbox for autoshutdown of tool when game is starting.
Have a look, if this works now for steam Version and report please.

Funny, I played with resolutions and it worked quite easy to modify the ini

So in the actual version you can now also choose if the game starts in windowed mode or not and select an resolution.

! some resolutions do not work in fullscreen mode, but work in windowed mode !
