Tory Party spilts, Gays can now marry equals good day

From a group of people I know who, amongst other things, think gays are the cause of all of society's ills.

Tell them that its the Tory party that is the cause of all societies ills and its up to the rest of us to clean their mess up.

So society is going down the toilet very fast indeed. history is full of such things happening when society turns it's back on marriage being simply between one man and one woman for life.

Homosexuals getting equal rights = Society going down the drain?

You must be constantly appalled that homosexuality was even legalised in Britain.

At least now we know where the dividing line is. Hopefully we can reverse the trend so we can be like all those other virtuous paragon countries that also persecuted homosexuals, such as Hitlerite Germany, Iran, China, and others I'm sure.

China stopped (officially) persecuting homosexuals for over a decade now.

Wikipedia:

Sodomy was banned in the People's Republic of China, until it was legalized in 1997. In 2001, homosexuality was removed from the official list of mental illnesses in China.

It is believed that the Chinese policy towards the gay issue remains the "Three nos": no approval, no disapproval, and no promotion

In fact, the most anti-gay group in China seems to be evangelical Christian converts.

It's one of those issues where MPs have a "conscience vote", where the party either does not have an official or a strong (or a conflicting) party line, and it is agreed beforehand that MPs are free to vote however they feel like. It was the case with the Labor Party in the gay marriage vote last year (but not with the Liberal Party, whose leader forced his MPs to vote against).

It's certainly a reason I am considering voting against Abbot. I'm not a big fan of either of them, in fact I think they're about as bad as each other. Where I live seems to be fairly anti gillard anyway. But some of Abbot's view are bloody ridiculous.

I only live there half the year. The other half is FNQ. With Bob Katter. Bloody idiot he is.

But the hat!

You'll be voting Gillard I imagine then Tailless?

Not a citizen. :p

But if I could, probably. And my electorate is very much red.

The Tories already started it when they dismantled the postwar census

Frankly I'm thrilled that "society" (as envisioned by conservative white Christians) is circling the drain.

I was quite disappointed that I don't know anyone who was in any way opposed to this legislation. I didn't have a chance to fight my corner and firm up my principles.

In fact, if anything, most people I know were more enthusiastic about this that I was.

I hope the ban on human-Cylon marriage will remain in effect though. That's unnatural.

 It's Adam and Steve, not Adam and S7EV-34i!

I think I'm going to be hearing a long rant in the near future.

Is this the same inner circle which desires the relocation of Britain somewhere in the North Atlantic in order to get further away from Europe?
