One word, just one word: Finally!

Okay, a few more words. What took so long? It only took 6 years after Medieval I to get Medieval II, 9 years after Rome I to get Rome II, and 11 years after Shogun I to get Shogun II. By release time, it will be 20 years or more from Medieval II to Medieval III. We've had a few Sagas of Troy and Britannia, Three Kingdoms, and Pharoah, along with Rome II, Attila, Shogun II, Empire, and Napoleon in that time, so even with the distraction of the non-historical games, there have been historical games. But for years now, my reaction whenever there's a new Total War game has been:

So, I'm glad it's finally happening! I might even become a Medieval III Fanatic!

And this Sneak Peek shows that the game is becoming a copycat of Civ series. Basically Civ series should return to stackings
