Trade Opportunities for VP

Yeah I think visibility is great and I'd also like this mod to stay focused on trade; I don't think any additional info is needed.

I'm sure only relevant information will be added by him. And other parts might be better placed onto one of his other mods like List Enhancements. I just meant to post it give additional ideas for modding. :c5happy:
 
I think I found a bug with this mod: TRs that have just finished and can be sent again are still marked with the exclamation mark (!) and therefore will be filtered out if the appropriate option (VP Blocked) is checked.

Expected behavior is that only active TRs are marked as blocked, since only they are really blocked in VP and it often makes sense to send the TR to the same target again anyway; it also kinda breaks the filtering for blocked TRs.

Not planned. Just play with Info addict. It is compatible and has more stuff on than GR. Or just load GR and do not bother with its part of TO. I think it should work. Remmeber to load it before TO.
 
Since adan_eslavo is currently not keeping this up to date anymore (I posted an issue to his github, but no answer) I'll just post a little update for this mod here; it fixes an issue that VP has introduced in June by renaming "Spices" into "Cinnamon", which breaks some functionality in the mod.

- sorted luxuries alphabetically (after cinnamon change);
- added info in other resources about OnlyMinorCiv value and required improvement;
- added deals to players' headers;
- reworked help text formatting for all possible outcomes (less newlines, colouring, less space);
- refined ui file and colouring:
    - added other players' approach colors;
    - resource name colors (gold for luxury, silver for strategic; useful for non-vp resources),
    - "unavailable" now brown;
    - "..." has now more color variants depending on what's inside;
- reworked tooltips (new formatting for needed resources, less new lines, les spaces, no doubled info);
- reworked totally CS icon tooltip:
    - number + resource icon in front of tooltip;
    - ally color is set depending on your current approach;
    - other resources that CS has are listed in line below and do not consist currently checked resource;
    - added "?" for resources that are inside the borders, but not improved, pillaged or with wrong improvement on them;
    - number + "?" for resources which are available, but still there are few that can be improved;
    - added current CS influeance;
    - greyed out icon with red "?" for resources that have not been improved yet;
- moved "WAR" sign by few pixels;
- increased truncate for CS Ally in City-States screen;

Few ideas grown into big update. I mostly focused on main Trade screen with special care to other resources and city-states.

Earlier I barely touched this screen and made it only working. Now it will have much more info, colours, everything can be sorted and some old issues will be fixed (I hope). Beside that Trade View will have fix for resources not added from GA and some small tweaks (colours for CS approaches in addition to player's ones).
 
I really don't understand why a lot of your work has not yet been incorporated into vp core.

I suppose that it is because they have limited workforce. Once I was told that it will be better to keep this mod alive if I will do that by myself instead of passing it to VP. Same issue was with Promotion Overhaul.

I made significant progress towards v10. Improved sorting (now you can sort by number of quests; better influence sorting). Added column showing current pledge/revoke protection option wih ability to click on it to change the state. Added improved tooltip and flags for unique units, so now you will be able to see comparison of all unique cs units in game. Added influence decay value (like in CSL mod). Fixed make peace button. Changed few icons and added many colours to tooltips.

In my games it was common to forget about pledging protection or bullying. Now it is gone :)

And it's not the end. I have few ideas to add before v10 release! Stay tunned.

And restrictions on size because of the 32bit executable. Gazebo is trying to keep it as thin as possible to prevent crashes and slower game turns.

Added distance (very useful) from your closest city. Reworked more tooltips and colours in texts. Did many code cleaning. Now you can click on distance number to center on the city. Espionage window on icon click in Spy column. Unique unit spawn option change on clicking on the flag. Now 6 different flags to describe your current situation with Military CSs. Unique Unit has mentioned tech and era (no need for pedia check). Even better sorting (especially influence).
This Beta is available on Github for anyone eager to check before full release. Would be nice to hear your feelings. I have no time to test it out in play.

Post some screens from gameplay if you try it out.

Remember! After clicking flag for spawn or icon for pledge/revoke turn off and turn on the diplo screen to update icons! Still working on autoupdate.
