Trade with CGN (Monotheism)

Netatolia will send an unaccepted offer with Monotheism to us again, which we will recieve as soon as we get the save.

And then about the price.
Netatolia knows we have around 10 turns left to get Monotheism. Their first suggested asking price is a 100 Gold, or 5 Gpt, or a combination of those.

If my numbers are correct, when we recieve the save we will have 6 turns left until Monotheism. We are currently (150 AD) have 289 Gold, and are producing 19 Gpt at 10% Science rate. If I drop it to 0%, we earn 22 Gpt, 3 Gpt more per turn. In 6 turns this will be 18 Gold. Which leaves a difference at 82 Gold.

If we accept this deal we will get Monotheism the turn after that, skipping 5 turns of research worth 15 Gold in total.

I would like this to be decided quite fast, as we only have a few turns left of research.
(The constitution says trades can only be ratified by a majority poll open for two days. But I still feel like we should be able to bend it a bit...)
So what do you think?

Hmm, I would like some citizen input on this, but I want to play the save now. Meet me in the main #civfanatics room and open private chat to tell me your preference, as soon as possible.

If not, I will offer 70 gold, send and email adament that although we would save 5 turns of research, we dont personally value the tech that much, as we will get it soon anyway.

I had a chat with miccofl and Netatolia are willing to accept 80 Gold.

Personaly I am willing to go with 80 Gold. We save 5 turns on Monotheism, can start on Chivalry or another tech faster, and get better relations with CGN.

If it is still to high for some, we can still try and get a lower price...

Ok. Even more additions to the trade.

Any tech we get from Netatolia is not to be sold on to GWT.
They agree to Monotheism for 70 Gold, if we agree to an embargo against GWT for all techs.

In addition, Netatolia are around 3 turns from discovering Chivalry. They have a deal to sell it to Apolyton, as Apolytons tech rate is so slow, according to miccofl.
They will be willing to sell it to us as well, though the price would need to be discussed further.
