Trade with stations in BE

How do you first time trade with stations that the game says I have "discovered"?

Just like with your own cities. If the station does not appear in the list, you haven't discovered a path to them yet (move a unit in the direction so the fog of war gets removed and you have a path).

And IIRC make sure miasma isn't blocking the path to the station as well.

Yes. In addition, until you unlock Harmony affinity level 2, your trade routes can't go through miasma.
This can affect your very early trade connections, when you have few cities and the station you want to trade with has miasma between you and them.

Your post is more definitive than mine: I never play Harmony (cuz Supremacy is the best! ) so aren't aware of Harmony's benefit in regards to trade routes.
