I think there should be advanced trade not like it is now.
There should be screen where you can select youre Luxarys and Recorces which you allow to trade. When you talk to some Civilization and agree to Import and export something you write a contract which lasts till war starts betwen them or till end of the game. Recorces could be traded by chariots later heavy truck,ships,train or planes which carys rec/lux from city that has conection to selected recoreces. For that youre city gets money as well entire civ. You get money from selling things. As well you get res/lux from civ which you trade with.
But thats not all you can with chariots, ships or whatewer trade food with city that doesn't have enough to grow. For example city that is in desert.
So what do you think?
