Okay, I just have this question which has been bothering me for a while...
If I'm travelling with original CDs, by flight, is it okay to have them in the scanned luggage? any suggestions?

    Should be fine.

Just make sure they're up to your temp before using them. The can condense can that can cause problems with the laser.

I travel with some DVDs occasionally and they're fine through the X-ray machine, so I don't think it'll be any different for CDs.

As far as condensation? Room temp, or whatever temp you're at. So if you're in the car and it's 90°F, make sure they're up to that temp.

And yeah, Xray's shouldn't affect them.

Make a backup first so that you have an image somewhere in case your original gets damaged.
