An attorney for Enrique Tarrio, the Proud Boys leader convicted of seditious conspiracy, told NBC News on Monday that his client was being processed for release from FCI Pollock, a medium-security federal prison in Louisiana. Tarrio was serving 22 years in federal prison after he was convicted of seditious conspiracy.
“He is being processed out,” attorney Nayib Hassan said.
There is no birthright citizenship amendment. Birthright citizenship for the children of legal immigrants comes from Supreme Court interpretation of the 14th Amendment (US v. Wong Kim Ark). The issue of illegal immigration and birthright citizenship has never been directly dealt with. It was addressed in dicta in Plyler v. Doe.They are now all about undoing the previous guy's EOs and trying to overcome weak power in Congress. Trump will try to use an EO to undo the birthright citizenship amendment.

People are mixing definitions for preemptive pardons, so let’s clarify terms:you guys are all flipping out but no mention of the crazy fact that are sitting president can pardon people preemptively. What keeps a president from hiring contract killers then?

The 14th Amendment of the US Constitution said:All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside.
He stayed home Jan 6th and wasn’t physical present at the capital or in Washington DC so him getting pardoned is justified. People who were there that day and committed illegal activity getting pardoned is what I don’t get.I'm not sure how many of the violent ones he left out.

Type 1: Pardoning someone for an already committed act before they are prosecuted -> Legal, but generally not done
Type 2: Pardoning someone for an act they have not committed yet -> Illegal

Burdick v. US - SCOTUS outlined the difference between a pardon and immunity, stating that “a pardon includes an imputation of guilt and an acceptance of a confession of it.” You cannot be guilty of something that you haven’t even done yet. On the other hand, immunity can extend into the future.Please link to your source for that.
