Between now and Jan 20 Trump continue to announce his candidates for high office in his administration.

Today's announcement:

From WaPo: President-elect Donald Trump announced Wednesday that he plans to nominate Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-Florida) as attorney general and Tulsi Gabbard, a former Democratic congresswoman from Hawaii, as director of national intelligence. Trump also confirmed plans to nominate Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Florida) as secretary of state. Earlier Wednesday, Trump pledged a smooth transition as he met with President Joe Biden at the White House after a jovial meeting with House Republicans at which Trump touted GOP victories in last week’s elections.


I guess this wills stop any investigations into Gaetz's sex with minors.
 
Continues to be 100% accurate. Rules so hard the conservatives managed to convince their voters that a pizza shop was trafficking kids, when the Hastert/Trump/Gaetz are coming from inside the house.

EDIT: Anyhow, yeah, Matt Gaetz and the Fox News guy who doesn't wash his hands are being nominated. Matt Gaetz is so obviously going to get slow-walked by the senate it makes me wonder who Trump or his coterie want as AG that they are sending Gaetz up first so the next guy seems normal.
Sure, the Senate GOP is loyal to Trump, but they also all hate Gaetz and don't want to be investigated by him in a fit of pique because they were insufficiently loyal to Dear Leader.

Not yet. Trump will need to announce there will be a Director of Child Protective Services first, but not before Gaetz is installed as AG..
 
When Trump says they're the best people, they're the best people.

Last time he picked people he had to fire because they had thoughts of their own. The only thought Trump staff needs is: yes mr president Trump sir, as you wish sir.
