Trump In Charge: Wrecking Ball

Trump’s Pick to Lead D.E.A. Withdraws, Citing ‘Gravity’ of Job

The announcement by Chad Chronister, a Florida sheriff with virtually no experience in the kinds of complex international investigations the agency handles, comes just three days after his selection.

Gravity has a well-known liberal bias

“Sir, you said during the campaign you had concepts of a plan, do you have an actual plan at this point for health care?” asked Welker in reference to Trump’s vague claim during his debate with Kamala Harris.
“Yes, we have concepts of a plan that would be better,” Trump replied.
“Still just concepts? Do you have a fully-developed plan?” added the host of “Meet the Press.”

“We have the biggest health care companies looking at it. We have doctors who are always looking. Because Obamacare stinks, it’s lousy. There are better answers,” he said.
He continued, “If we come up with a better answer, I would present that answer to Democrats and to everybody else and I’d do something about it. But until we have that or until they can approve it — we’re not going to go through the big deal. I am the one that saved Obamacare, I will say and I did the right thing.”

Trump has nominated Kimberly Guilfoyle (Don Jr.'s fiancée since 2020) as ambassador to Greece. Meanwhile Don Jr. is caught holding hands with Bettina Anderson on a walk around Palm Beach.

Time Magazine should be ashamed of this decision. Feeding the narcissist.

I think their engagement is officially broken up.

I'm 100% certain that if Kamala Harris had won the election, she would have gotten the title/cover.

They were such a lovely couple. :(

They had Hitler iirc. It's not based on positive things more most impactful/influence.

Trump would fit that criteria.
IIRC, they even had Soviet leaders like Stalin twice and Nikita Khrushchev. Along with infamous people like Ruhollah Khomeni, Putin, and George W. Bush.

Trump being named Time "Person of the Year" isn't remotely controversial, unusual, or even noteworthy. POTUS always gets named "Person of the Year". Again, if Kamala had won, she would have been on the cover.
Yup it's not a popularity or good/evil list.
According to Wikipedia, the US President always gets named Time person of the year, with only three exceptions since the magazine started the practice.
Since the list began, every serving president of the United States has been a Man or Person of the Year at least once, with the exceptions of Calvin Coolidge (in office at the time of the first issue), Herbert Hoover (the subsequent president), and Gerald Ford (the only president never to have been elected to the office of president or vice president). Most were named Man or Person of the Year either the year they were elected or while they were in office; the only one to be given the title before being elected was Dwight D. Eisenhower, in 1944, as Supreme Commander of the Allied Invasion Force, eight years before his first election. He received the title again in 1959 while in office. Franklin D. Roosevelt became the first chosen US president and is the only person to have received the title three times, first as president-elect (1932) and later as the incumbent president (1934 and 1941).

So, it's an almost totally useless thing to declare, even by the standards of Internet bragging competitions?

Time has lost much of its relevancy and a great deal of prestige. I'm surprised to see their person of the year still mentioned.

For Trump, though, it is like crack.
