Trump Indicted!

I couldn't watch the whole thing. It was a fantasy piece by the NYT. Too much out of context.
Out of context!

edit: thanks by the way for 'fantasy piece'. I do think imitation is a form of flattery.
I could say the same thing about your opinions and what you tout as facts.
Go ahead. Tell me where I told lies.

I dare you :)

Fat chance that the entire animosity between Democrats and Republicans is just played up for electoral purposes, behind the scenes they probably get along quite well.
Ooooh. You should read Stupid White Men by Michael Moore. It so bloody does stand the test. It just skewers Clinton properly for e.g. his environmental record.
You did indeed.
Yes, and then he just posts something like this:
EDIT: My Xmas trees are up BTW
I mean, SERIOUSLY?! It's done on the eighth, you Protestant weirdos.

Seemed like the right thread to have gob packed with those to gnaw on.
To be clear... the banana ones are vomit worthy :vomit:

The sour apple ones and grape ones are amazing :yumyum: especially when you are a kid. I would never eat that garbage now of course... I gotta save all my lost health points for alcohol ;)

Always gotta have the priorities straight.

Tbh i'll take candy over liquor most days, I love the non-banana Now n Laters too but i haven't seen Now n Laters in a store in a long time now.

Five points to whatever house can first identify the movie the quote is from...
Animal?

I played fair by not Googling (I thought "house" was a clue). Then I Googled, so I think I'm incorrect.

However, Googling told me that the phrase is originally an Ogden Nash poem.

Dollar General seems to stock them. Necco wafers, too, but I'm not sure what's regional and what's not.

I said the MEDIA lies. It spins, fondles, mutilates etc, ad nauseum. :P

Trying to get unvarnished, unspun facts.... not trivial.

(and NYT has lost all credibility, imho)

just for giggles about who voted for Orange Man...

See?

But you can't say the same thing about my opinions and what I tout as facts.
Otherwise, show me :)

Nope. As for clues... The word "candy" is probably the best clue.

It is an interesting map. Just two counties flipped in Michigan. Just one in Wisconsin. And that flips those states. Or is reflective of a sufficient shift overall to shift those states.

A consecutive clean sweep in Massachusetts for the Democrats :D *pats self on back*

The map should be seen as a danger to the GOP. Sweeping the flipped counties but getting less than 50% of the popular vote and a 49 to 48 victory. All that red state gerrymandering of Congressional districts burned them in 2006 when small-margined districts all flipped blue. If we do have inflation under Trump, 2026 could be a repeat of 2006.

The flipping counties are reflective, not decisive. Virtually every county in the country saw a shift toward the Republicans.

Virtually every county in the country saw a shift toward the Republicans.
Given that Donald Trump got more or less the same number of votes as in 2020, this is due mostly to Democrats not showing up to vote.
