the President has to be weak with the base for a challenge, Trump's their darling
I know but some campaigns have been eviscerated by intra-party challengers. I was just trying to point out that they are setting it up so there can't be said challengers even if they were capable campaigners and if there were mass unrest in the party. And there's not mass unrest in the party either so even if there was a strong challenger and even if the rules weren't changed to effectively disbar them from the convention, they won't stand a chance at actually unseating him from the ticket.
Trump has aligned himself with the fascists, whilst condemning those who fight against them, in a normal country that would hopefully spell his end but not in America.
2020 see what happens.
Not really. It just says that they are solidly behind him.
This is an understatement. Trump is polling almost 90% with Republicans.
That is not a healthy relationship in any setting. 90% approval is sad no matter the situation.
Trump is the "Choosen one"
Leading the faithful to the MAGA
Blessed are the poorly educated
The interesting data point would then be whether the number of self-identified Republicans has gone down in the last 3 years. Anybody has data on that?
Then there is something seriously wrong with Republicans.
All the moderates have been driven out. Only the crazies remain.
both parties trend lines are down, republicans more so. As @Phrossack and @hobbsyoyo like to point out though, it does not matter since their game plan is to subvert the representative system. Thus making old and white a winning strategy anyways.
You mean former Democrat voters?
Or the Trump haters. Since Trump has done a very good job, I am going with the haters being wrong.
That's a fact. Democrats have jumped off the bridge without a bungie cord.
Interesting read. It shows the Brooking institutes known liberal bias, but very factual. The real issue with the analysis is that it assumes basically static affiliations. In the 1970s many Tea Party members were Democrats. Then, they became Reagan Democrats, eventually core Republicans, even right wingers. One thing Trump has done is attract support from the disinterested and sometimes from former Democrats.
I look forward to another 14 more years of "winning"
Have fun doubling down on your support for a brain worm riddled, senile racist who has been credibly accused of rape multiple times, who spouts anti semetic bs, lusts after his own daughter, who can't bring himself to condemn white supremacists, who believes climate change is a lie even as the evidence shows otherwise, who boasts about sexually assaulting women, who lies with the same ease that one breathes, who failed his way upwards, a man so far removed from any sort of reality or decency etc.
He's your man and you love and support him. Now what does that say about you, that you are more than willing to give him a mulligan for all of his many, incredibly concerning flaws? It doesn't look good and it doesn't speak well of who you are willing to tolerate next so you can "win".
I wonder what would actually happen, if they drop a bomb into a hurricane?
Not that i think this sounds intelligent lol (stupid rather), but curious about the results.
Just four. That will be enough to really change things around.
That's not the fun part. Watching people think they are smarter than he is, is the fun part.
Someone calls Trump anti-semitic? Where did you dig that up? Whomever it is must be brain dead. The rest are the usual lies and exaggerations, but that one is really wrong.
Do i need to post the access hollywood clip? Do i need to quote what he said about his daughter? Do i need to quote what he said about China inventing climate change? Do i need to point out the fact that he lies multiple times a day off and online? Do i need to point out that multiple women have accused the man of rape and sexual asssault? Do i need to point out the fact that he lost money whilst running a casino? Do i need to point out the fact he got sued TWICE precisely for racist practices when it came to his businesses? Do i need to point out his comments bout ****-hole countries, Mexicans, etc? Do i need to point out the fact he implied the American Jews have dual loyalty to both Israel and America, which is an anti-semetic trope?
You are no different than a flat earth believer and you and your opinions can be safely dismissed as being just as removed from reality.
No, it isn't.
Haters will hate, but calling Trump anti-semitic is far removed from reality.
Ah yes, calling the man who has said that he only wants small men with yarmulkes to count his money, anti-semetic is far removed from reality.
Separate names with a comma.
