Trying to name my son

Give him a name that half a million other people don't have (like Mike or Adam or Alex) but not one that's different just for the sake of being different.

As someone with a somewhat unique first name, when I was a little kid I hated it, but I appreciate it now as an adult, and people compliment the name frequently. But as a kid having a "non-normal" name can really suck. I could see how it can make some people turn out a little... differently...
