MUST READ!
Our most sacred rule: Do not replay any turns!
If you make a mistake, accept it, and try to recover through game-play. To ensure fair play and prevent results exclusions, please set your Autosaves to "1 turn". In the event of a computer crash while playing, just reload to the previous autosave, then play on the same way you played it the first time. Please let Leif or me know (either in the forums or through Private Message) if you experienced a crash and how many turns you replayed.

This game runs through May 2nd 2025

Is there gonna be an april fools joke in this game? I hope so.

I will probably move the warrior on the sheep SW to see if there are sea resources and if it's worth to settle on the jungle, but probably settle in place.
Need to be coastal to find the chains of CS islands.

The sheep are nice, when improved the same as a hill river tile with civil service. Even though we don't have a river.
I will probably place the first great writer on the cows.

Have to remind myself that the goal is to found world congress asap.

Just wanted to add the location for Linux users:
~/.local/share/Aspyr/Sid Meier's Civilization 5/Saves/single/

I''ll also move the warrior to the sheep to see what's out in the sea. But unless it will put me out of range of something good, I'll settle on the Incense; will still have 3f and Deer tile in first ring and it'll turn a worthless tile into something decent. This will be a nice stable city, three sheep and a cow.

I have no idea what the fastest tech path to a world leader vote is, but I think I will rush Printing Press to get things like World Religion and World Ideology ASAP and go from there. The incense looks like a pretty fine place to settle.

Printing Press starts the clock for diplomatic victory. The World Leader vote will be scheduled based on when you hit PP. The trigger for the WL vote is entering the Info Era (usually through Telecommunications) or the Atomic Era (if two or less civs besides you are left). Most of the time, including extra turns for entering new eras, you've got 48 turns from hitting PP in the first cycle, then 26 in the next cycle (74 total). So, if you think you can hit the info era by say, turn 200, then you'd want to hit Printing Press on turn 126 for a two-cycle DV win or 152 for a one-cycle win.
