very nice athletics department
excellent medical school
Beautiful campus
LSU-Louisiana State University- Lsu Tigers
located in Baton Rouge, LA
ok, school
horrible sports department(except for football their ok)
ugly campus
ugly girls
not that good education
so now its up to ya'll.
I personally think Tulane is a better school, achademically and sportily.

I would suggest you find some local forum or newsgroup dealing with issues affecting Louisiana (or maybe the Southeast Conference), and solicit opinions there. I doubt too many people here are going to know much about the relative merits of Tulane and LSU here (as you can probably see from most of your responses!).
I personally know nothing about either school. I know Tulane is in New Orleans, the ultimate party town, though....

Tulane has better athletics than LSU?
LSU has won 35 national championships in various sports, most notably Track and Field and Baseball. They also kick Tulane's a$$ at Basketball and Football. I'll give you location and education, but you're pretty far off on everything else...another thing rjgo, can you tell me where Tulane is on the top 25 rankings here:

The Sears Cup basically measures the success of different schools' athletic programs. LSU was 22nd overall, Tulane was 69th.

2) pre-season rankings; Tulane: 2nd, LSU: 5th. hmm....

1) I never said you weren't correct on academics. You were way off base on your characterization of the respective athletic programs.
2) in which sport? can you post a link?
Don't get me wrong, if you go to Tulane, I completely understand why you want to make the argument that Tulane is better. I'll argue all day long that my alma mater is the best university ever. I won't be right, but I'll keep making the arguments.
Agreed on Israel. Damn Palestinians....
