It beats United States American rap/pop spam for faux liberal rejects.

The girls mostly look better, too. Usually in United States American MVs the women are all either short and skinny or fat. The women in Turbo Folk songs actually look like healthy beings.
 
I ask for this thread to be closed, it burns my eyes.

I didn't bring up anything American, I'm just wondering when Europe is going to get over Aqua.

And are they truly healthy? What color are their auras? Occasionally, I see girls with purple auras here. Usually means healer class.

Well most of them are on drugs (the women in the first two videos definitely are) but otherwise they aren't as malnourished looking as United States American girls are.
 
The trouble with Ceca is that she married Arkan.

She also hurts my eyes when I see Pink.

Oh, come on.
It's more really Ex-Yugoslavia. It's not like this stuff is very popular in Portugal or Norway, and it's not like there aren't certain obsolete and embarassing musical styles still going strong in some parts of the USA.
I can't watch the first video for some copyright reasons. The third one is OK I guess, but as Silurian mentioned the singer is a mafia and war-criminal bride which leaves a sour taste.

So you don't like women choosing who they marry? Are you against free love? Personally I think she's cooler than Lady Gaga, Birtney Speers, etc.

Also the first video was really good. You should find a version that isn't censored.

You seem to be under the impression that there's some kind of award for the silliest strawman on this forum. There isn't.
She's free to choose a criminal and murderer and I'm free to let that influence my opinion of her.

The problem with youtube and music videos in Germany is that there's no understanding between youtube and GEMA, so a lot of music videos or clips that contain copyrighted music are blocked for German IPs.

They're our version of American pop stars, they suck the songs are stupid and Yugoslav rock is way, way, way, way better so I propose another closure of this abomination.
 
Ex-YU rock was indeed 1.21 Jiggawatts better than todays turbofolk. Not that I have anything against folk, mind you there are some great things there:

Truth be told turbofolk is music for scene girls, guys who want to bang them, noveau riche and people who want to be 'rich' like them. Generally a kind of music that appeals to the masses because of their simplicity. In fact, a friend of my knows a composer/producer who worked on classical music at a record company before he had a brain stroke. Now...he works on turbofolk songs.

Well at least the lyrics make sense and match the music video. United States American pop just repeats the same lines constantly ("poker face poker face p-p-p-poker face" etc).
 
Actually folk like Toma zdravkovic, Halid Bešlić... isn't bad but Turbo Folk with all the plastic people and electric sounds is.
 
Obelix has really lost weight...
