I believe that as soon as the turn ended, the forest was cleared and 10 shields were added to Shen Ling's production box, making it only 4 turns until completion of the spearman.

It also looks more promising that we will find a land bridge to the east after all.

I would recommend irrigating the newly cleared tile as I had previously proposed. Then I would suggest building a road onto the deer tile north of the city and begin exploring up in that direction. By the time we finish irrigating, we should have the spear finished and can safely move the warrior to the north to help explore that area for a potential site for our next city.
