    Persia doesn’t like our tank on their island either, again we’ll move for now, the Persian Ironclads head back to Persia.



    We have pollution to clear, manage to find some forestry to keep the workers occupied, stack some more troops, and find another barbarian camp to give us 25 gold – every little helps!

    Our workers work and more troops are produced. We find another Barb camp and gain another 25 gold!

    Then the upgrading starts – a total of 41 tanks on our own continent, and 50 on the Aztec one are upgraded, taking us down to 122 gold. The barbarians add the usual 25 gold to that.

    1655 AD – Turn 5

    Modern Armour was loaded a transport to go to the Persian Island, and we go barb hunting with our first Modern Armour – we get 25 gold and our first Elite Modern Armour!



    We upgrade more Tanks and Infantry, and our Workers work

    1660 AD – Turn 6

    We complete the Intelligence Agency in Vandelay!

    Piccies still to come – there are rather a lot!

    The last of the Infantry are upgraded, and we still have plenty of gold, so plant spies in Persia and Zulu

    The Guantlet (our killing ground) is complete. We declare War on both Persia and Zulu

    1665 AD – Turn 7

    The Persians enter the Gauntlet by the masses, Cav after Cav after Knight after Cav after Cav after….
    44 Cavalry in 1 stack, 3 Knight in another and 18 assorted Infantry, Rifles and Immortals. We bombard them as they pass. Once our turn begins, we bombard and bomb them again.

    We attack Altin Tepe and raze it to the ground.

    We attack the stacks in the Gauntlet. Our modern armour attacks, promotes and gets a Great Leader De Gaulle!.

    We attack New Tugela , capturing the city, then continue attacking the stack in the Gautlet.

    We start attacking cities again, Behuistun, Turen, New Umtata, New Isand, New Mpondo, New Ibab, New Zimbabwe, New Bapedi, Umata and Borazjan fall to our Modern Armour.

    End of Turn 7, 70% science, Fission in 4, 1176 gold, -149 gpt.

    1670 AD – Turn 8

    We start razing again. New Umfolozi, Jinjan, Isipezi, Heart. Then at Intombe – we get another Great Leader! Ibab is razed next, then we are ready for the next invasion.

    1675 AD – Turn 9

    Persia is now bombing us with Aircraft and a Settler pair lands! We take Samaria, Zohak, Dariush, Bapedi, Amatikulu, Istakhr, Sardis, Tegula and Tarsus.

    We get another Great Leader taking Bactre, Mpondo falls and another Leader capturing Zimbabwe.
