Here is the Russian war plan..

NOTE: The blue dotted line going east of Yakutsk should be going 1 south onto the mountain. Then, 1 south onto the bonus grassland, and then 1 east onto the mountain by Moscow. It's possible to attack this city now on turn 4.

The small light blue lines are river boundries. Do *NOT* attack over them! Red is turn 1. Pink is turn 2, and blue is turn 3 (and a general plan of attack). Light pink is a more generalized plan of attack. The Russian land is very rugged, so I don't know what we'll be facing, or if we'll be stalled.

Move all of our knights into nearby cities except for our elite knight, and the knight by Kobayashi city. Upgrade the knights on turn 2, if the senate allows it. Keep the warrior on the iron tile. Also keep the knight protecting the worker on the mountain by Mure where he is. Move the knight north of the Russian Spear by Mure onto the mountain 1 tile south of the spear. Once the spear steps off of the mountain (hopefully onto plains), attack him with a vet (full health) knight.

Move the Kobayashi knight along the northern coast towards New Falcon's Haven, then Cijam. Then, move it towards New Morgana (use the quickest path possible). Watch where Russia lands their unit from the galley (I have no clue where they'll land it. Probably New Morgana, or another spot that has a future source of oil.)

Move the sword in Internal north to New Morgana.

Move the Musketeer in Huntington to St. Octaviansburg.

Move the knight in DR to Vandelay (it has a barracks). This knight will also gaurd from the galley.

Move the spear in St. Octaviansburg to Carabet Voltaire.

Move the Musket in DR to Cijam. When it arrives, move the warrior in Cijam to DR.

Move the Musket in Vo Mimbre to New Falcon's Haven. When it arrives, move the archer in NFH to Vo Mimbre.

If any other muskets are built (and I have no clue if governors will even BUILD them... :/), place them in border cities (and coastal cities) with low defensive units (warriors, archers, horseman, spears, swords, pikes - in that order).

Please upload the save every turn so that I can see the progress of the war. Do *NOT* put our troops on auto goto!!! This is so that I can fine tune the progress of the war, if any changes occur during the turnchat. (I hope the rules are flexible enough for this... :/)

    Peace Treaties:
    • Please renegotiate Peace with Persia, they should pay us 20 gold for this, please get the most gold you can.
    • If asked to renegotiate peace by another Civ (except Russia), please do so.
    • Do not accept Peace from Russia – although if they will talk and you wish to see what they would offer just out of interest, you are welcome to do so.
Military Alliances: If either Babylon or Germany also declare War on us please form a Military Alliance with India. The cost of an Alliance against Russia is currently 40 gold, although this may change. The cost of an Alliance against Babylon or Germany is currently unknown. Please therefore form what you consider to be the best Alliance at the time, balancing the cost against the benefits.

    War Declarations:
    • We still intend to go to War with Babylon, but this will be as the Russian war finishes/draws to a close, and the troops become available from that conflict. When we have 20 knights (or it may be Cavalry by then) on the Eastern Front, 10 on the Western Front, please look out for Babylonian intruders in our territory. When they arrive, demand they leave. They are almost certain to declare war. We are unlikely to be in a position to declare war until late in this session at the earliest, so if they do not declare war or there are no intruders we can discuss it in the forums without losing too much time.
    • If War is declared on us by Babylon or Germany, please do not stop the chat and form the Military Alliance with India as in the instructions above.
    • If War is declared on us by another Civ, please stop the chat so that we can decide what to do in the forums.
Right of Passage: Please do not form any Rights of Passage this chat.

Tribute Demands: Again, 2 sets of instructions, one for if we have deals we want to protect, the other if we don’t.

If deals we want to protect are at stake:
    • If a Civ with whom we have a deal we want to protect makes a demand, pay the demand up to a value that you judge makes the deal still worthwhile in gold, gpt or maps, but do not pay cities, techs or resources.
    • If Persia makes a demand and the deal we want to keep is with a Civ that relies on the route through their coast (Aztecs and Zulu), pay in the same manner as above.
If there is no deal to protect (either directly or indirectly) please use the standard options below:
    • Please reject all tribute demands from Persia, Aztecs, Zulu and Iroquois.
    • Please reject all demands from Russia.
    • Once we are ready for War with Babylon, reject all demands from Babylon, as another way to persuade them to declare War on us.
    • From other countries, pay all tribute demands that do not exceed 40 gold or 2 gpt or that include technologies or cities. If the demand exceeds 40 gold, 2 gpt, or includes contacts, techs, or cities, reject the demand.
Territory Incursions: Once we are ready for War with Babylon, demand that they remove any troops that trespass in our territory. If you only have the choice of requesting they leave, you may have to wait until they are further into our territory or next to a city to be able to demand they leave. You may even wish to consider using troops to shepherd them into this position. Otherwise:
    • Do not request or demand that any nation move its troops from our territory during this turn chat.
    • Please monitor incursions within our territory and report during the chat, so that the route is recorded for future reference.
    • Please if possible block the route of any Settler/Defender pairs that attempt to cross our territory.
    • If what appears to be a possible invasion force arrives near a city from either Babylon or Germany, it is not essential to stop the chat, providing the appropriate defences can be put in place. If this is not the case or the potential invasion force is from another Civ, please stop the chat so that we can determine what to do in the forums.
Although this is only a potential Territory Incursion, please also monitor enemy (or potential enemy) troop/galley movements just outside our territory as this can give advance warning of attacks or potential attacks and allow us to organise our troops to respond.

A lot of items were on the voting list.

Sliders: tao's proposal = I propose to set the science slider high enough to sustain 4 turn research. We currently don't need luxury spending. Accumulate cash to keep up research after our Golden Age ends.

    Yes: 2
    No: 0
    Abstain / not voted: 3

This item is accepted and thus an instruction.

    ----------------------------

    item 11
request for the cashrush of Kadessa's library (232g)

    Yes: 2
    No: 0
    Abstain / not voted: 3

This item is accepted and thus an instruction.

    ----------------------------

    Item 12
request for the cashrush of Audiac's walls (44g)

    Yes: 2
    No: 0
    Abstain / not voted: 3

This item is accepted and thus an instruction.

    ----------------------------

    item 13
request for the cashrush of Audiac's barracks (unknown amount)

Yes: 1 (after all other requests have been serviced)
    No: 1
    Abstain / not voted: 3

This item is a draw. The DP decides. If the DP decides "yes", this cashrush has the lowest priority.

    ----------------------------

    item 14
request for 520g for the Cav upgrades.

Yes: 2 (note: over 3-4 turns depending on funds available after doing 11, 12)
    No: 0
    Abstain / not voted: 3

This item is accepted and thus an instruction.

    ----------------------------

    item 16
request for cashrushes of an unspecified amount of pikes and spears to muskets.

    Yes: 2 (Max ~450g)
    No: 0
    Abstain / not voted: 3

This item is accepted and thus an instruction.

If you look closely you see item 15 missing. The MA with India poll has voided this Senatorial-vote. The people have decided this MA needs to be signed (see FA instructions) and thus the Senate has no vote in this.

    Turn 5

Boots had to go eat dinner.

    Turn 10

Playing a special Turn 11-13 save to get the last Russian city, and the Great Leader to Vandelay.

    Turn 13

    Turnchat Log

Summary: We got a Great Leader, which is at Vandelay (we can use it next turn), and we're poised to defeat Russia next turn, AND be the first into the Industrial Era! (I estimate 5-7 turns to Steam Power). We're also in a possistion to take out Babylon in 3-5 turns after building up for a turn or 2. Next turnchat could very well see a world without Babylon!

Just a note: Some of the city names are incorrect or named out of order. I'll fix this next turnchat.

    Ehhm for the record:

My remark about naming Military Great Leaders after that DG's first president was a joke. I am flattered though ...
