    Don't accept flips.

Besancon will be the city to capture. I'll leave micromanagement and build queues to the DP's discretion, although a library rush would likely be wise and you may want to consider starvation and/or building workers to reduce the flip chance and unhappiness due to war with their original nation. Worker actions in that area are also up to the DP's discretion, but mining and roading the undeveloped riverside plains might be good.

    Berlin:
    Build queue:
    cathedral->marketplace->university

    Micromanagement:
    turn 0: switch hill to horse (35f, +5fpt, 0s, +11spt after growth)
    turn 1: new citizen should work hill (0f, +4fpt, 11s, +11spt)
turn 9: switch irrigated grass to tobacco (28f, +3fpt, 88s, +12spt after growth)
    turn 10: switch tobacco to irrigated grass (31f, +4fpt, 0s, +11spt)
    turn 11: switch hill to horse (35f, +5fpt, 11s, +12spt after growth)
    turn 12: new citizen should work hill (0f, +4fpt, 23s, +12spt)

If a specialist is needed, the DP can decide which citizen to use

    Worker actions:
    turn 0: native1 moves to 2NW forest
    native2 moves to WNW plain
    turn 1: native1, native2 road
turn 4: native1 moves to WSW grass
    native2, slave mine WNW plain
    turn 5: native1 roads
    turn 8: native1 mines
native2, slave move to 2SW forest
    turn 9: native2, slave road
    turn 13: native2, slave chop
    turn 14: native1 chops 2SW forest

If micromanagement does not work as planned or worker cannot work where allocated, the DP can alter as needed.

MM: Move citizen from fish to plains, shortens Sistene Chapel to 3 turns at negative food.
After chapel completes, move citizen back to fish.

    Production: Sistene Chapel(3), Barracks(2), Knight(4).
At this point if we need units then build more Knights. If we don't need more units then start a University.

    Build queue

Knight (3) -> Knight (5) -> Knight* (5) -> University (turns based on no specialists or Golden Age)
*If the 3rd Knight is not needed it may be skipped in the queue

Worker Actions (turn numbers for guidance only)

Turn 0: 3 Workers move to mountain SSE
    Turn 1: 3 Workers mine (4)
    Turn 5: 3 Workers road (3), 1 Worker released
    Turn 8: 3 Workers released

In case of war, if necessary protect the Worker with units (preferable), but the DP may interrupt the Workers and get them to safety if it is necessary to do so. They should be pretty safe on the Mountain once we raze Rouens

    City Tile Micromanagement

turn 0: Leave at 14spt after corruption and zero growth for Knights in 5. This will need:
    1 mountain
    3 hills
    2 irrigated grass
    1 Sugar
3 off 2food 1 shield tiles – use the ones to give best commerce.
The DP will have to MM if Enemy troops prevent tiles from being used. If at all possible maintain the shield output, there is some food in the store so the city may be set to a negative food situation but do not let it actually starve and lose population. The DP will also have to MM in case of a Golden Age to maximise production whilst minimising shield overrun.

In case of unhappiness, please use the lux slider if possible, but if needed the DP may use specialist to prevent disorder moving a citizen off a the mountain first, then if more than one is needed a 2 food plain or mined grassland. Do not let the city riot!

    Rushes
    None

    Worker Joins
None planned, although one (or even two) would be welcome if they became available just as long as the luxury spending could support them. Another citizen would mean the MM situation on the Knights would not be so tight.

    Workers
War Effort - 3 for Augean group(near Augean Stables), 2 for Styx group (near Olympus)
    Augean Stables - 1
    Styx - 0
    Priapos - 0
    Olympus - 1
    Civantonia - 3
    Berlin -3 (including captured)

Workers allocated to the War Effort are at the disposal of the DP to create roads to speed reinforcements.

If any unit from a civ at war with us gets within 2 squares of an unescorted worker (3 if the unit is a fast one), the worker is de-allocated and must immediately move to a safe location as determined by the DP.

    Slider
The slider is to be set initially at 80% and the lowest practical luxury rate. That rate should ensure that all of our cities remain in good order without the use of entertainers.

We may go into negative gpt for this session, so long as we don't go more than -10 gpt. Please reduce the science rate to maintain a maximum loss of 10 gpt if that should happen.

As we approach learning a tech, decrease the tech slider so long as the time does change, to maximize our income. Please check this each turn once we have 2 turns to research a tech.

Budget Priorities - ensure these happen first, or that money is available for them
    -- None

Please maintain a cushion of 200 gold, do not rush anything that would take our gold below that level unless it is culture or growth related.

All other requests for funds may be prioritized by the DP.

Game Stop conditions - please halt the chat should any of the following occur
-- Should barbarians threaten unescorted workers
-- Should any nation declare war upon us and be in a position to threaten our cities

    Thanks,
    -- Ravensfire, President of Fanatikos

    Wars
    - Declare war on France on the first turn. The troops are ready, the French are weak. We will prevail and burn Paris to the ground!
    - Don't declare war on anyone else besides France this TC
    - Don't sign Peace with France this TC

    Foreign Civ Problems
    - If Persia demands money or a tech from us, give it to them
    - If France, Germany, or Rome demands money or a tech from us, don't give it to them
    - Give in to German demands if France has already declared war, or vice versa (we shouldn't be at war with both of them by chat's end!)
    - If German, French, or Roman troops enter our territory, ask them to leave (yes, literally ask the French troops, during war, to leave ;) )
    - If Persian troops enter our territory, wait a turn or 2. If they don't leave yet, then ask them to get out

    Change Colosseum to Hoplite
    2. Knight
    3. Knight
    4. Longbow
    5. Hoplite

    Micro managment:

Make sure production is maximized. NO STARVATION for extra shields. If their is a sufficient increase in shields say 3-5 or more zero growth is fine for the time being.

    Worker Actions:
Finish working remaining tiles. Mainly mines but don't neglect irrigation. Also, if the forest will aid production don't cut it down if hinders it, cut it down and mine.

Who wants to run a game session?

I just found out that I cannot access the chatroom and therefore will not be able to play an online turn. If someone else is available to play, I would really appreciate it.

With that, I feel that must retire from elected DG life. I'll throw in a quip here and there, but have really become quite unreliable here, something we really don't need at this stage of the game.

    I am truly sorry. :(

As the scheduled DP is unable to run his game session, and nobody else in the chain of command has begun the session, I am exercising my authority in Section L.1 of the Code of Laws, and will be playing the session.

Due to other matters, this will be an off-line session, but a full game log will be produced with essentially the same detail as my usual on-line play. My apologies for any trouble this may cause.

I'm intrigued where the Roman Pikeman next to Besancon in the turn 0 save came from. It wasn't in there in the investigation of the city at the end of the last session!

Good to hear we took the city anyway and had Knights to spare for Lyons from Rouen and Chartres.

One little tiny bit of information missing from the summary.

We have started our GOLDEN AGE!

Err, it's in the chat log ....

I probably should have made that a bit more clear. This is the first turn of our Golden Age, so stopping at this point isn't all that bad. We've got a great chance to see just what the impact is, and maximize that advantage.

Coolness. Obviously, the Roman Pikeman came by to witness the commencement of our Golden Age. :goodjob:
