    worker actions in Audiac
I want to very much urge the DP to follow my instructions. The DoI plan is much much worse, because it is "generic" and does not pay attention to the current needs of the cities.
In previous terms, significant worker jobs were not done properly causing much harm.
I spend a lot of time devising the "best" instructions and I am significantly p**ssed if they are not properly executed.

There are 3 Egyptian workers NNE of St. Octaviansburg. 1 must go NWW of St.O to road and mine. 2 must irrigate SW of St.O, afterwards they join the NWW Egyptian to road and mine the hill. Afterwards the 3 go to and road the irrigated deserts between Sharkeygrad and Kadessa.

The worker at New Morgana finishes irrigation and road and then builds road over flood plains W, NWW to Kadessa. Afterwards(!) irrigate these flood plains.

The NWW worker of New Falcon's Heaven IMMEDIATELY stops the utterly foolish mining. He irrigates and roads, then irrigates SE of NFH, afterwards cuts forest.

The Vandelay mountain workers build road, afterwards 1 worker, 1 guest road and mine 2NE, NNE of Cijam. The others help the SSE workers at Ooligaria to mine and road the mountain. Afterwards the 4 workers clear 2 jungle and irrigate at St. Octaviansburg.

    Rush Jobs
Kadessa: hurry temple to fight flip risk as soon as the funds are available; hurry library if we have the cash

Ministry of Internal Affairs instructions for 720 A.D.

    Settler Instructions:
None. Should any be built, and there is a good location, settle at DP’s discretion.

NOTE: Do not move any settlers unless there is either a military escort or you feel there is no military threat to that settler, including barbarians.

    Government Change:
None - stay as a Republic!

    Wonders:
DR: Continue building Sun Tzu’s Academy
    Groton: Continue building Leo’s Workshop

Should a city working on a wonder have that wonder completed by another Civ, please switch that city to either the Palace or another wonder. If neither option is available, please halt the chat. This decision MUST be made on the turn the AI civ completes the wonder.

NOTE: Absent any Governor instructions, please consider MM Groton to grow in one turn, then configure to balance both growth and production. Groton MUST grow to keep up in wonder race.

    MIA Controlled Cities:

    Finklewink:
    Build: Temple
    Queue: Worker
    Micro-Manage:
    None.

    Almaren:
    Build: Temple
    Queue: Worker
    Micro-Manage:
    None.
Worker request: Use worker to cut down forests to speed temple. A road is not useful.

For all cities under MIA control: The DP is authorized to reallocate laborers as needed should a city go into disorder or to manage growth. This includes laborers as needed.

NOTE: If requested cash rush expenditures are approved, the MIA explicitly allows the DP to use their discretion on when the rushes are done. We have no problem with delaying the rushes if funds are needed for trades or other projects.

    Military Instructions

Gonna be general on this one (setting up a new computer today. Might not be at the turnchat).

1 - Keep our current garrisons as they are.
2 - If any new pikes are built, move them to cities that are garrisoned by (in this order: warrior, archer, horseman, spear).

3 - If I'm not at the turnchat, Sarevok will be in charge.

    We have voted/discussed 2 issues:

Item 1: Cashrushes of Cultural buildings in the former-Egyptian cities, Sharkeygrad, New Morgana and Kadessa.
    This item is passed.
Senators Noldodan, tao and Gert-Janl have approved, thus a majority.
Senators Octavian X and CivGeneral have held their silence, thus are considered agreeing.

Official instruction on Cashrushes in Sharkeygrad, New Morgana and Kadessa.
As soon as there is money freed up, rush cultural buildings there. Kadessa has the highest priority.

Item 2: Slider settings for the TC starting in 780 AD..
Senators tao and Gert-Janl have proposed the following (start) settings: Sci 60%, Lux: 20%, thus tax 20%.
Senators Noldodan, CivGeneral and Ocatavian X have not commented, thus are considered agreeing.

The priority has Happyness; under no circumstances may our citizens become unhappy.
The DP is free to hire entertainers in 2 cities or 3 towns.
If entertainers are needed in more cities or towns, instructions are to raise the lux-rate.

    The second priority is science.
Try to keep that up to at least 60%, unless lowering it will not reduce research-time.
If that is the case the instructions are to lower it to that level.
Please check at the end of every turn if the research-time is 10 turns or less.

    The lowest priority has tax.
If we can scrape a good +gpt, go ahead.
If you can't; -gpt isn't forbidden; as long as you can keep it marginal.
(Marginal is defined by the DP).

If through some disaster you can't keep our citizens happy and keep science up high and keep the tax
at least marginally -gpt, while there are no other options to solve it; finish the chat within 2 turns.

These slider-settings are also valid for the tech we research after Banking.

    Worker-actions

Follow the requests by the Governors, prioritised by the DP's choise, as long as they aren't against the map made by our DoI.
The colors indicate the tiles the cities will use.

    The letters indicate:
    R - road the tile
    M - mine the tile
F - plant a forest on the tile
    I - irrigate the tile

    Use the workers in teams.
In case a worker comes under threat by an unfriendly unit, protect it or move it to safety.

I wish to apologise; I will more than likely miss the first turns as I have other obligations.
I will leave soon, so any comments on this thread won't be seen by me, until some time after the TC has started.

    Good luck.

    Additional MIA Request
    My Lord President,

My apologies for a second post, but this was an idea prompted from several different areas. As you are aware, there is an ongoing discussion on slave/migrant/enforced voluntary service of foreign workers. We also have a city that is constructing wonders, but is in need of additional population - Groton. Groton is easily capable of supporting additional population without futher adjustments due to the Cathedral and Marketplace present.

Please consider merging one or two foreign workers into the city of Groton, preferrably a mix of Babylon and Egyptian workers. The benefits to Fanatica will be significant in both increased production in Groton, and the increased tax flow from those workers. Remember that Groton is the site of the Forbidden Palace, so corruption is minimized.

I thank you for your indulgence in this matter.

-- Ravensfire, Minister of Internal Affairs

Thanks to tao for the final prompting on this idea.

Military Alliances: Please do not form any Military Alliances this chat.

    War Declarations:
    • None this chat.
    • If war is declared on us by another Civ, please stop the chat so that we can decide what to do in the forums.
    Peace Treaties:
    • Before any trades are carried out, please make Peace with Egypt for Option 1 (27 gold, 11 gold per turn and their World Map). If for some reason these terms prove to be unacceptable, please make the best deal possible with the focus on maximising gold and gold per turn.
    • If asked to renegotiate peace by another Civ, please do so.
Embassies: We now have Embassies with everyone!

    Tribute Demands:
    • Please reject all tribute demands from Persia, Aztecs, Zulu and Iroquois.
    • Please reject all tribute demands from Russia unless the demand is trivial (10 gold or less and/or a territory map).
    • From other countries, pay all tribute demands that do not exceed 40 gold or 2 gpt or that include technologies or cities. If the demand exceeds 40 gold, 2 gpt, or includes contacts, techs, or cities, reject the demand.
    Territory Incursions:
    • Do not request or demand that any nation move its troops from our territory during this turn chat.
    • Please monitor incursions within our territory and report during the chat, so that the route is recorded for future reference.
    • Please if possible block the route of any Settler/Defender pairs that attempt to cross our territory.
    • If what appears to be a possible invasion force arrives near a city, please stop the chat so that we can determine what to do in the forums.

Groton: Library, Knight, Knight IF you insist on building a wonder here, make it the Sistine, not Leonardo’s.

    Mure: Barracks, Aqueduct, Courthouse.

    Grand Bricolage: Harbor, Aqueduct, Granary.

Worker instructions: 1) Irrigate the flood plain near Grand Bricolage. 2) Irrigate a grassland near Groton. 3) Mine the mountain with the IRON near Mure, not the other mountain.

    Other: Nothing.

    Turn chat summary

Several things of interest happened this turnchat. First, the peninsular city of Almaren flipped before the start of the first turn to Babylon. It was an unimportant city, however losing a city is something that is not to be taken lightly. Also, as has been mentioned in a thread by the Minister of Defense, Babylon declared war on Germany and briefly captured Nuremburg (Germany recaptured it a few turns later). Additionally, the Iroquois were eliminated by the Aztecs during this chat. I have a screenshot of the Aztecs charging into the last Iroquois city, which I will post in the screenshot thread. Also, we discovered Banking and Gunpowder during this chat, and have two sources of Saltpeter (notice to tao - Vandelay is currently building a Palace because it did not allow me to queue a bank at the start of the chat [as we didn't have banking], I will of course change it to whatever is instructed next chat).
