Please use the "title" part of your instruction post to state your office title.
My intention is to play 10-15 turn, barring something unusual, so please try to have instructions for that length. War will not be declared upon Japan, but units will be in position at the end, barring something unusual.

Only elected/appointed officials may post in this thread!

Please stop the chat if we get to the stage where we are ready to move in on the other continent as the sooner we are able to cut the Japanese down to size the better.

Luxury:
Use the slider or specialists, whichever is most cost and production effective to keep our cities from rioting. .

Science:

Maintain Science to achieve Computers in 4 turns (yes, it will be –gpt). After we research Computers we will need to reduce Science to a more sustainable level to leave us with around 1000gold for rushes once we capture a city on the Japanese continent. Always check over the last few turns and reduce the science rate if it is possible to do so.

In case of emergency it is allowable to reduce science slightly to gain some additional gold necessary.
Do not let our treasury run dry!

Treasury Spending:
Upgrades of Infantry to Mech Infantry should we get the necessary tech. Any necessary spending should allow us to keep a cushion of at least 1000 gold to be used in emergencies and potential rushes for our future foothold in Japan.

Wonders:
Use a Scientific Leader to Rush SETI in Priapos when it becomes available, allowing any partially completed builds to complete first so shields aren’t wasted. The other Scientific Leader is reserved for the UN in Styx.

Great Leaders:
Next Military Leader: Use to rush an improvement in Istkahr, eg: a Factory or save for a rush during the Japan invasion.

Scientific Leader: See Wonders above for instructions for current SGLs, Save any Scientific Leader (if we are so lucky to get a third) for further Wonders.

Colonies:
Please use non-German or French slaves to build colonies if we need to.

Workers:

Clear pollution by our cities as a priority, there’s some by Priapos at the moment. There are enough Workers in groups around our tundra coast to avoid having to break the wall to clear the pollution

Follow instruction from Governors for improvement around their cities (eg: Civantonia will need irrigating before it starves then remining when the food box is full again).

Natives, French and German Slaves may be joined to cities if they can be freed from other tasks, please stacks workers for efficiently railing/improving as necessary.

The DP may use Workers to road/rail to the front lines or blockade as needed by Minister of Defence or as necessary, just make sure the Workers are left in a safe position or adequately protected. Swap blockading workers that have finished railing with blockading troops on unrailed tiles. Airbases can be built if required.

Samarra, Oxford, and Kyoto will be the cities to capture.

Berlin:
Build queue:
bombers or tanks
Build a research lab when possible

Besancon:
Build queue:
bombers or tanks
Build a research lab when possible

Rome:
Build queue:
tanks or airport->bombers
Build a research lab when possible

Istakhr:
Build queue:
factory->research lab->police station->bank->stock exchange->military

Micromanagement and worker actions:
turn 0: join worker (15f, 0s, 1fpt, 38spt)
turn 5: factory->research lab (20f, 0s, 1fpt, 76spt)
turn 8: research lab->police station (23f, 0s, 1fpt, 76spt)
turn 11: police station->bank (25f, 0s, 1fpt, 84spt)
turn 13: bank->stock exchange (27f, 0s, 1fpt, 84spt)
turn 16: stock exchange done (30f, 0s, 1fpt, 84spt)

Augean Stables:
Build queue:
bombers or tanks
Build a research lab when possible

The micromanagement may be altered based on worker actions or pollution.

Worker / MM : Clear pollution and put displaced citizen back to work the same turn when possible.

Build: Naval units / tanks / bombers, whichever is requested by military and has the best shield utilization. When the UN is available, use a SGL on it after the then-current build finishes, to avoid any waste.

I haven't checked the save to see what the current state of relations might be... slammed at work, sorry.

We're going to be invading soon, so no reason to do any boot licking. If we provoke the Japanese into declaring on us (assuming we're currently at peace) then we won't need to go to the trouble of a vote, so refuse all demands and if any Japanese troops enter our lands demand they leave at once.

After we build the UN, don't hold elections! We're aiming to prevent a diplo victory by Japan, not to win that way.

My apology for making this comment here, but worried it might be missed if made somewhere else.

If we feel secure in the others not catching up and getting fission before we do, we could go deep on the computers path to get the tech that allows building the Internet (miniturization?). This gives a free research lab in all cities, so all the labs that are queued up can go to something else. Just a thought, we're still running short of things to build anyway. :crazyeye:

Chat log: http://www.civfanatics.net/uploads11/DG7_AD1685_Chatlog.zip

Summary:
A building session, that ends with a full invasion group poised outside of Samarra. 8 Transports, 1 Carrier, multiple Destroyers and more Tanks than Tokugawa will know what to do with! SETI was also completed in Priapos. A second invasion force is partially assembled near Styx to hit a small island that has Aluminum and Rubber.
