Sure, it is only example.
4->3 with road and 4->2 without.
switch MM and it´s 13 and 12
2 versions,2nd looks better
i believe that is correct.
so road first, and we should be fine, alright?
worst case, we have to use 1 scientist on the last turn of Philo.
@ Memento, the 2nd option won´t have the cap grow in 2...
if u switch MM next turn again, it goes
but lost 1 beaker
No, we have get to normal track with food in Camelot.
Also, it is time to get wheat in Tinta.
Better to have Sci in Glaston. if we have not enough bpt.
@ Memento - how? we cannot reach +5 fpt in despotism.
u r right again. (ich muss mir meine schnellschüsse abgewöhnen)
@ Lanzelot - in town #3, you can have a scientist for two turns, and its growth will only be delayed from t42 to t43, which appears ok to me. and we should be safe about Philo plus won´t go bankrupt.
Ok, can someone tell me: how many beakers did we have in 31 and 32?
14 and 15?
If we need scientists in Glastonbury, I would like to hire them now, because hiring one in T36 is no good: the irrigation will be finished in the interturn 36->37...
So if I counted correctly, we have now 74 beakers, so 76 left, which means 4x19.
No, it must be less: with 19b it still says 5 turns. So we probably need 77 or 78.
Glastonbury makes only 4 with a scientist (1+3). In my test game at the pink spot it was 5. We may need more scientists than we like... Should we go for T37? How close is it?
Well, I'm making 18 now, and Tintagel grows this turn, so even 60 in the last 3 turns should not be a problem.
I don't like moving the warrior 1N. Our curragh will be there in 4 turns anyway. I'd much rather go 1E and have a good view of the coast while at the same time preparing to explore our eastern territory.
Looks like we had a cross-post... Yes, I prefer early scientists in Glastonbury as well. The extra charm is: we don't even use a shield, the 2nd one is corrupted anyway...
Ok, so I went ahead and played that way. Hope you don't mind the warrior 1E, but I do think exploring the east is of more importance now.
Ivan and I concluded: 43 - 57 - 72 beakers, being on the more pessimistic and thus safer side.
Therefore, using a scientist for this and the next turn gives us 151 beakers. If the 2nd commerce should even be uncorrupted in town #3 after roading this turn, much more, saving us a few coins.
Walking W does not make any sense at all. ALL those tiles will be made visible by the curragh. And none are important for the next 4 moves.
If you do not want to continue north, please go East then.
Stupid me, I meant "1E", of course!! (In the text I've been talking correctly about the "eastern territory"...) Better go to bed now...
much better then... could you post a screenie please.
Whoever plays the next turn. Move the curragh NW-W-W or NW-W-NW, so we see a few extra tiles.
edit: i think NW-W-NW is better. we will build another curragh, and this one should show us the other tiles. but by the next turn 3N we possibly save a turn later, e.g. on meeting someone else.
I think it is important to have Philosophy at 36-37, DK hired a Scientist two turns ago at second City, Eagles got high commerce turn before. At the same time I want Camelot to be mormal 6 turner worker - settler combo ASAP... Better to screw 3rd City.
sweet or salt water?
Another question, to the team:
What are we going to do if we FAIL on Philo first?
Research CoL next? MM? WC? TW?
I think we need a value 2-attacker, either archers or horses, even it is only for barbs.
It is fresh water. Hill East of warrior is excellent City location.
I think if we fail we may research CoL in a hope that we meet somebody and trade something.
I still think one military tech could be nice, even if we are not first to Philo.
Our path there is set unchangebly now anyway. 3 turns to Philo. ss works.
Map looks nice. I like that spot also, Ivan. Alas, corruption will be pretty bad already.
Lanzelot, you going S or SE with the exploring warrior now?
What will be our next builds? If I understood you correctly, you want two workers in a row? I do not mind, but after that, we really should get the factory up. I think that could work out nicely with another curragh.
This warrior should be the last from Tinta, by the way. Wonder prebuild after that.
1)It would be pity to miss opportunity to trade Writing to WC + Wheel, say.
2)We may have Sci in Tinta or Sci in both...
3)May be even next east. Probably fresh water will allow us 2 enter to the lake.
At Republic corruption acceptable.
4)I think Warrior will go counterclockwise around lake.
5)Next build Camelot - Worker - worker, Warrior -- Settler, warrior - settler... an so on.
Tinta - Curragh - Wonder. Glaston - Granary. Curruption in Tinta ate shield, so Warrior not good. And Camelot will work on regular factory without Curraghs.
