Since there hasn't been a thread opened to get instructions for a turnchat before the 5th of May, this is it. :)

There are currently four possible players, me and dutchfire, at 1400GMT tomorrow (1500 my time, 1600 his time) with either one of us playing the save and the other as back up. (mine would be offline, dutchfire's i believe would be online)

This is techinally kwarriorpoet's turnchat but i believe he has other committments at the moment so his faction members have been given the go ahead to play it, and then there is NZL because he only did four turns last time.

Please post instructions for the next turnchat, whoever it might be and when and comment on the proposed plans for playing the save, i think it is important to keep the save moving and not let this died. Thanks :)

dutchfire will play, it will be an online session at 1 GMT, I will be back up should something happen. Enjoy! :)
 
The instructions are the same ones as in NZLs, so please go ahead with them as originally planned. Nothing has really changed since then.
 
The last player misalocated the espionage points as 3 to hatty and 1 to Lincoln. I would say switch them all to Lincoln so we can get his graph. Once we get Lincoln's graph split it 3 lincoln- 1 hatty to maintain both graphs.


A tweek with the scout.

I would first use him to scout spanish lands (same as before) But i would keep him in spanish lands until a horse archer could replace him. His job is to watch for a settler that could be going towards copper. It is more important, in my opinion, to see this than to scout what is to the west of Hatty. Once a horse archer can ncpome over to replace the scout. The scout should move west to the ocean, then scout back east.


these are the only changes I would make
 
Just to clarify:

New Giruvegan should be building a Monument, then a worker. However, if it so happens that the city is less than 3 turns away from growing, please start an archer until growth, then build the worker.

The first archer in New Giruvegan should fortify and protect the city.

When the worker is built (maybe happening in this turnset, he should either farm the rice or mine the Bronze. Opinions?

Thank you Joe for starting this thread. I believe that your time frame works excellently, and since the instructions are already written with the minor changes already discussed, I think it's a go! Thank you again, can't wait to read about it on Monday, as unfortunately, I wont be able to make the chat :(

Just remember, we stop when Alphabet is complete :) I trust both you and/or dutch to post the turn chat and screenshots per usual.

- Random Events will be resolved by immediate vote in the #turnchat IRC channel, with a veto from the Turn Player [me in this session] if the vote seems to come from the opposition with the intent of harming the Prime Faction.


Session Stoppers

When either one of these events occur, the session will be stopped:
- Discovery of Alphabet
- When Spain + Spanish backlands 'till shores are fully mapped or we discover Spain has copper access [which indicates she knows where it is and thus has BW too]
- When we make contact with another nation
- Declaration of a War on our continent
- Arkadia settle plan blocked

These instructions ok with everyone? (some of them will have been carried out)
 
Obviously "Arkadia founded" is not a turn-stopper, as they have planned a build queue for it, so please omit that turnstopper.

Why is our worker improving Arete, which already has plenty of good tiles, while other cities are working unimproved tiles?
Shouldn't we build a stable+barracks in Arete?
 
Dutchfire, you have no right to alter the instructions, this is still Triad, so do not abuse the trust you have been given. Warlord City is the military city, to specialize for military purposes. Also, I think the worker should connect Arete to Warlord City as we agreed on, also to give the health benefit to Warlord City.

BTW the worker instructions say: "Worker: Mine Arete hills, Cottage Arete grassland, Farm Edorai Rice, Mine Edorai hills"
