Tutorial problems

Hello everyone, I've just picked Civ IV Complete up today for a bargainous price, but I'm having some problems.

Being completely new to the series, I haven't a clue what to do in order to play the game well, so I was hoping to give the tutorial a go.

Unfortunately, when I try to run the tutorial, the game quits back to Windows (in order to reboot into the Tutorial Mod, presumably), BUT it doesn't actually reboot, it just stays in Windows. I've tried running the tutorial from the mod menu as well. Is this a common problem?

I've tried patching but it seems to be the current version seeing as Civ 4 Complete is a fairly new package.

Anybody got any ideas?

Hello! Thanks for the reply.

It doesn't give an error message, no. BUT I've managed to fix it! I've just given the tutorial mod its own shortcut. For some reason when I click the Tutorial in the menu, it shuts the Civ 4 down but doesn't actually run the tutorial mod. So, for future reference, the shortcut looks like this:

"C:\Program Files\2K Games\Firaxis Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 4 Complete\Civilization4.exe" mod="Tutorial"
