Next model, this time a plane again, the Tu 16 Badger, long time soviet Bomber and still in use in different countries:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tupolev_Tu-16

the model itself has

1307 triangles, 1117 vertice, a 256 texture with a 128 gloss
uses Stealth Bomber animation

there is also a team colour texture included (only removed the red star)

The texture was my first try using baking lights in Blender on the texture and i´m really impressed (thanks C.Roland for the explaination!), made some small errors (some details aren´t dark enough) but nevertheless i like the result

Are you SURE you included a Team-Color version with the download? I'm not seeing it.

how do you put skins on?

not sure if i understand your question correct, but the skin is the texture (the dds files, there is one for the skin and one for the gloss). To change the skin you would need a new texture which matches the UV of the model, if you have one you only have to change the name to the standard texture included (the texture with this name is used)

here are some tutorials listed:

I think the problem is you keep saying "skin"... it's called a "unit" or "model" or "unit model" in reference to what you refer/want to do.

Look in the tutorials section on how to add units to the game. something like this. But we really need a good tutorial for adding BtS flavor units IMHO.
