When doing a mouse-over on a city state it says e.g. "The Budapest City of Budapest". For City States the use of the adjective is superfluous and should be avoided. Better is "The City of Budapest".

(noticed in 1.0.0.7 demo)

That's because Budapest is too... Budapest! :D

Nice catch, though!

Aren't City States able to conquer cities, though? In that case the adjective would be necessary for the new city at least. I assume that's why the developers didn't leave it out.

OK. If city states can conquer other cities, then it's appropriate for those other cities. "The Budapest City of Rome" is fone.. It remains inappropriate for the City State "capital"(which is the way you'll see it most of the time).
