Ubuntu Issue

Hello There

I am a complete noob when it comes to Linux/Ubuntu but want to give it a try.

I succesfully installed Ubuntu 18.04 and the newest Nvidia driver 390.xx
I can start CiVI but as soon as i want to start a actual game, it either goes back to the starting menue ingame or the hole system hangs.

Can anyone help me out a bit?

Had to manually remove all mods, works fine now.
