It's ugly. Almost as ugly as the quality of image files when you upload them through the civfanatics interface:
The problem persists over water tiles as well, as can be seen to the left. Reloading the game does nothing. Graphics settings are medium to low, but changing them doesn't seem to make much of a difference. Brand new Asus laptop with Nvidia Geforce graphics card. I've been having this problem in every game I've played, and only since I got this new computer a few days ago (no such problem on my lousy three-year-old laptop with bargain Intel dedicated graphics card).
