I hate you all

I'll go to Uk if everyone at the meeting pay for my ticket. I can be a helluva person to entertain; which I predict most of ya is boring and need an arrogant american like me to bring the life to the party.:mischief:

Same here. Except for the arrogant american part, of course.
I'd be delighted to attend.

You need to work on your sales pitch, boys....

Abaddon, you make a wonderful case for Newcastle. Why not host a meet up there in March ? I'm sure many people would love to come.

By the way, do you have any decent beer up there yet ?

(On a serious note....febuary would be awesome for me as long as it's not that weekend of the 16th!)
I seriously consider coming to London on that weekend, for the same reason as you, but I don't plan to give a chance to EuroTunnel to recover by hitting the railroad several times in a short timespan. ;) Though, as I think you think, I'm not sure how to make the best of the 2 events. But I'd probably want to come on Friday so as to profit more from my weekend in London, so................ Meh, too many things to do in London Town ! :D

Maybe, though I haven't exactly been Mr. Active-on-the-forums recently...

I'm considering.
February is a must though :) !

One tip: It would be great if someone would, onbeforehand, pick a pub or two (in London of course). Simply to avoid strollling through streets to find a place that suits a group of CFC-ers.

Furthermore, I would need a place to saty, but I guess that can be solved.

I have some good London pub knowledge. If I'm coming along, I'll gladly play guide for a bit.

Might be able to help with this too if you're in need.

Yeah, I guess you could come back and spend a night in my uni room.
the advantage being the "bonuses" you get with five student guys![pimp]

Hmmmm, problem is me and my girlfriend are gonna do the whole 'couple weekend' thing so I don't think she'd like me trying to drag her to the meet heh! Plus would ahve to leave at like 6 on the saturday for the gig anyways!

So, what's the cheapest way to get to London? I've never been there, maybe next year I'll make a trip to the Old World.

The cheapest way? Probably to steal a boat (and enough food+drink) and sail across :p However, you'd probably have to set off now, and I'm not even going to bother going through the legal and health and safety implications...

The most efficient + cheap way, IMO, would be to get a plain to Portugal, or somewhere else in Europe that isn't in the UK, and possibly get the Eurostar, or something (assuming it's all running alright by then)

Yeah, but I have thought about it since yesterday, and I now think this is impossible for me to do. This'll need 2 weekends in the Queen Town, probably one for the gig + random visiting with French fans in town, and another one for CFC + whatever there is to do left.

BTW, there is an exposition about good ol' Tuthankamon (or whatever you guys spell it) in the Queen Town these months, and I'm very interested in going there ! :) Would that spike interest in a not-so-sobber group of CFCers ?

Swimming across the ocean. Good if you need to practice a bit. :D

It's conceivable that I'd attend, were it to be held in the last week of February. (In fact, I'd say a decent chance of it.)
