    Oooh, it's exciting.

    No-one knows what will happen.

Exit poll due in a couple of minutes.

You can watch online on the BBC News website all over the world I think.

    Exit Poll:

Hung Parliament, Conservatives 19 short of a majority.

    CON 307
    LAB 255
    LD 59
    Others 29

Can't see it myself. LibDems to lose 3 seats? Nah.

Change of seats predicted by exit poll:

    CON +97
    LAB -94
    LD -3

Sunderland reckoned to be first declaration. Safe Labour.

Emily Maitliss and Fiona Bruce though!

The exit poll won't take postal votes into account. LDs might get a boost there if people filled them in before they started to slide.

So the Unionist seats wont be enough to put the Tories over the line.

Well it's nothing like the CFC poll which showed an enormous majority for the LibDems.

Harriet Harman (LAB) already talking about needing to change the electoral system.

    Rubbish exit poll.

I want a indication of the turn out, a higher turn out will equal more LD votes most likely.

Exit poll based too much on Tory versus Labour marginals I think, which the Lib Dems haven't polled as well in, wher ein seats where they are 1st or 2nd they polled very well.

Some of the polling stations are being kept open due to a late surge of voters. Not a good thing for the Tories, but fractional in the big picture.

Wow, LibDems according to these numbers with fewer seats despite much more votes (presumably). This voting system is such a mess...

Exit polls? Not trustworthy. Let's see how many seats the Party gets. Half dozen would be way over expectations.

I can't see the exit poll being accurate.

Reminds me of 1992 when they said it was going to be a hung parliament, Conservatives won (John Major vs. Kinnock).

Radio 5 should be good, John Pienaar is excellent.
