Dodgy enough looking exit polls. It validates my prediction so I'm cautiously smug, yet disappointed because the LDs would be my choice if I voted.

They are saying postal votes are up to 25% in some areas, and are not covered by exit polling obviously. Also saying BNP and UKIP (U-kip...never would have thought of that pronounciation) are doing well in Scotland??

The %s on the exit poll are:

    Con: 38%
    Lab: 29%
    Lib: 23%
    Other: 10%

Note that last election, Lib got 22% of the popular vote...

Just now Mandelson was talking about the importance of electoral reform. Maybe trying to butter up the LDs?

I might have misheard! It's not my native political landscape, so I'm struggling with comprehension with some of this :)

Same as I thought. The end of the world is coming if there're born Scotsmen thinking Scotland belongs in the UK forever.

Maybe you misheard SNP as UKIP VR.

Turnout is up in Sunderland. Higher LibDem vote or higher Labour mobilisation?

At least without a overall majority the Tory's can't bring back Fox hunting.

Or do anything at all really.

Yeah there'll be another election in a few months if Tories try to form a minority government, IMHO.

That is consistent with previous polling in Labour-Conservative marginals as I mentioned before. So I think Lib Dems may well be on 30% or so in marginals where they were 1st/2nd. That would probably balance it out at the expected 27-28% for the Lib Dems!
