You Brits should stop watching US TV shows... you get too influenced.

Don't know. We have had swings of 5.5, 8ish and 11.2% in the 3 Sunderland seats. Anything could happen.

It's only 2 seats... Probably just Labour voters who didn't turn out again, like at the European elections.

Some Labour supporters in my area stayed home for the first time. I think they are politically tired, but they will be back in future years

And if you meant "other European countries", well I'd just say that in France we see the face of the presidential election winner at 8pm. We may be a country of socialists but at least our administration is efficient.

Sarkozy may run thugs, but we knew the result of the presidential election at 8pm on the evening of the election day. That's what I meant.

But anyway, I don't particularly like the French political system... I consider any form of modern democracy has defects in a way or another.
