‘A growing divide’: Leicester East faces potential loss of second Labour MP
Conviction of Claudia Webbe could lead to byelection in seat where Tories have been gaining ground
And there maybe another UK by-election coming up.

And i have to say Labour are generally worse than the Tories are.
Really? I would suggest it is constantly the problem of Left Vs Right that the Left are dropped immediately, yet the Right "Consider the matter closed" and just carry on regardless!
More Labour members protested their innocence over the expenses scandal. The tories caught up in it mostly retired (almost as bad admittedly, but not quite as bad IMO). There were also more Labour members caught up in it. Theres this recent example. There was the episode with Fiona Onasanya who was guilty of perverting the course of justice, had her appeal rejected (twice i believe) and still continued to draw her MPs salary, and she was only removed after her constituents voted to recall her. On the whole i would say they are worse. Although the tories are no saints.
Also the episode of Charlie Elphicke, convicted of sexual assault., and 5 Tory MPs breaching the code of conduct for attempting to improperly influence judicial proceedings.
When I was a young lad, people would refer to our leaders as the good and great, worthy of respect.
But I reluctantly concluded over the years that grasping and greedy were usually more appropriate descriptions.
The late Sir David Amess seems to have been be one of the few in the former categories, and it is sad when we lose them.
Yes. I would still say though that on balance Labour are worse. Both have certainly had their fair share though. Lib Dems have too (proportionally speaking). Chris Huhne was guilty of perverting the course of justice along with his wife.
Out of all these politicians with their various misdemeanours, IMO the most shocking one was that of Margaret Moran (what happened to her - not really what she did). I still find it incredulous that the judge saw fit to suspend her trial because she cried into a hanky. What a disgrace.
but really does it matter whose sewer stinks worse when both are filthy?
