I can't add Burroughs because his works are still copyrighted (his company is very litigious). I think Brancusi also still has copyright on his works.

The Burroughs novels are on Guthenberg, so they are free?!

Oh, I think his earlier novels are in the public domain. I'll add him to the list then.

I believe Edvard Munch (with The Scream, obviously) showed up in Civ5, but I am quite baffled that Henrik Ibsen and Edvard Grieg have yet to show up as great people in any Civ game or expansion. Ibsen wrote A Doll's House, one of the world's most famous plays, and Grieg's In the Hall of the Mountain King and Morgenstemning are almost always instantly recognisable the world over. One of his pieces, Aase's Death, even showed up in Civ5 as part of the ambient European soundtrack.

Yeah, I was looking at the wishlist, and I saw he wasn't on it, but I forgot he was already in the game.

It doesn't seem like Firaxis will add new Great People in the Gathering Storm expansion, unless the "Future Era" has some....:(

I just wanted Great Prophets to be unlocked throughout the game, not only to found religion. Come on, Firaxis, this would make religious victory a lot more interesting.

Would those Great Prophets function like Apostles?

Not exactly, but they can give relics, inspirations, sanctify places (sanctify world wonders and natural wonders to secure large amounts of tourism and faith by turn), build sanctuaries and temples in a holy place, increase the strength of nearby religious units in theological combats, they can give extra promotions to the apostles... Martin Luther, for example, can add an extra belief in his religion.

Sounds like a good idea for a mod, if Firaxis won't change that.

Hopefully a third expansion will improve the system of religion as a whole. Religious victory needs this love.

I seriously doubt we will get anything after "Gathering Storm".

I know that Gathering Storm is quite complete, but I'm still dreaming :p. In any way, Civ6 expansions were released more quickly than previous editions.

A third expansion is unlikely and unnecessary in light of the many features announced. But I wouldn't find a future patch adding more Great People and other features like earthquakes.
