Umm how do you use Mods?

Ok I tried to get the Russian Rulers mod but everytime I try to Load the Mod it says that I have like XML error with the name of something in the mod

So after a while of nameing everything that they Failed to Load CIV finally starts and when I go to select a Ruler nothing appears

The only other mod downloaded was the Random Names Mod but that worked fine but I think it's cuz there is no graphics in that mod.( Well hwat do I know even)

Can someone help

Or is it just the Russian Rulers Mod that won't work, maybe I should try to downlaod another mod.

It might be something to do with the 1.61 patch, ask in the thread.

Oh no i have no 1.61 patch since I use a laptop and I think someone said it conflicts and everytime you try to play it randomly starts saying you have too low video memory, I run it fine now with no patches

Then its not a problem with the mods, change your graphic settings of Civ 4 to low.

Lol no no not that, It runs fine when I don't try to use a mod

It's just mods that give me the problems

It may be that the mod is only working for 1.61 patch. And i highly recommend installing the 1.61 patch. I play on a laptop, and the patch improveds both preformance and gameplay.
