Why? Is there a log somewhere to tell me the issue? My computer?
Try again and it usually works with "overwrite file".

I've been getting it but am pretty sure it's actually saving despite the error...

It's a common bug, i've just been using quick save until it's fixed as it works fine.

I saw this for the first time last night. Hourglass spun for almost 20 sec, then errored out.
I did a quick save, then tried again later that session, and the save worked.

BTW, I'm always saving to my local disk, not the cloud.

I've had this issue for a while (but I played with a ton of mods and presumed it was related to that...)
I wonder if it has to do with the amount of autosaves per game (maybe its the size of the save files themselves, idk), cause it normally starts happening in Explo or Modern Age if i start in Antiquity.. Like others, in my case, the game saves regardless of the warning, and from what i can tell, there seems to be no corruption issues

I've seen it once with the last patch. After this the same game saved without problems.

I see this popup every now and then, but it's not accurate. The saved file is always there, and I can always load with it next time.

Its the number of save files. Mudkip1001 had an insightful wondering. I removed several hundred saves (all the way back to Feb). Haven't seen it since. I'm guessing the enumeration of saves to populate the list was taking too long.
