I wish I could put more time into units but I have bills to pay, I have a job with unpredictable hours, and a girlfriend whom I wish to spend the rest of my life with.
I won't let a game get in the way of my personal life just because some people can't use their imagination.
Besides, it's my impression that the Viet Cong could look like whatever the hell they wanted to look like, and did. They did not need to carry much because they had their bunkers. Remember them? That's why we lost the war. They were already setup because of the war with France, gaining them a huge advantage in their defending and occupied land.
Now, if I was making the Chinese infantry from the Korean war, that would be a completely different story. They were able to carry light and go on the offense into completely different territory. If the Vietnamese had to travel to places they did not know and were not already stationed, then they wouldn't have been able to carry so lightly, albiet they would still be lighter then the infantry unit.
Oh, and my leaderheads are photographs of the actual leaders with graphic editing to make them look like paintings. They may be simple but they work. And even though I don't put myself anywhere on the modder list, you don't diss my leaderheads.
