Quezatlcoatyl, the Plumed Serphent God, I suppose you could consider him the Mesoamerican equaleviant to a Dragon. Although he was the sworn enemy, according to legend, of the Aztecs(This stems from the Toltecs, where soldiers loyal to the Gods Tlaloc and I forgot the other god's name, but it begins with H, overthrew the Priest-King Ce Acatl Topiltzin, and the peaceful civilization, and started the first of the extremely violent and militaristic, human-sacrificing nations in Mesoamerica(Although it was nowhere near the level of horror that the Aztecs had...)
Another interesting thing is that there were Insect Gods in the Mesoamerican's vast Pantheon, such as a Bee god. This could be the basis for a new Mesoamerican warrior as well, since both the Eagle and Jaguar were also aspects of some of the Mesoamerican gods.
