I'm searching for a civ2 unit of this tank: (FT-17)

That's truly a veteran, isn't it?

Don't think you will find it, there are very few of the veteran tanks. The large selection of tanks is only really seen in the WWII and Cold War eras...

But I'm sure someone will make it for you, there's W.I.N.T.E.R., The ANZAC, dannyevilcat, Prometeus, and many others. They each represent a type of unit drawing and a certain kind of units, take a look in the units! thread and request it...

Here's an Italian WWII tank by Captain Nemo that looks similar to the one in the picture.

Yup I would prefer Nemo-style too because they are the best looking in the Civ-world unfortunately Insurgent is right there are very few early tanks out there. People tend to concentrate on the heavy hitters but forget that also small tanks can be very devastating and they also did a good performance. I think you should follow his suggestion and ask some of the great artists out there if they can provide you with a Nemoesque version.

I'll try my hand at one. I'll report back...

OK, I couldn't make the bumper to keep it from getting stuck in trenches, but here's the rest :goodjob:

Thank you all  [party]

Would anyone be interested in making a French Resistance Scenario from WW2? I know they didn't do a whole lot, but, with some ingenuity, it could be pretty cool.

Just when you thought things couldn't get any better! I believe there is a FT-17 in there somewhere, plus a load of other WW1 units.

hobbes: you've already been out done by me :p ;)

Here's a FT-17 fact for you: Mexico was still using the FT-17 in the 1950s!

Hey, it's a quality piece of junk! Renault kicks ass, my family used to have a Renault station wagon. Flew like a bat outta hell.

Renault it a great company. The FT-17s and R-35s were great little tanks.
