Running CIV3 PTW with the 1.27f patch. Me + 5 comps, Monarch difficulty on a Huge map. Running a P4 2.something GHZ with 512k RAM.
Even though I receive notification that a unit has been built, the unit does not actually appear in the city where it was constructed - or anywhere else, for that matter.
The cities generally have every upgrade (I'm done with the tech tree) and, theoretically, I should be able to crank out, say, 15 Modern Armor a turn. At the beginning of my turn all of the appropriate notifications appear, but 20-70% of the units vanish without so much as a note telling me where they've run off to.
Judging from the gargantuan armies massing at my border, it does not appear the computers are having the same issue.
Did a repair reinstall, played around with the govenors and sacraficed a small lamb, but so far, nada. Going for a full reinstall next. Figured I'd drop a line to see if anybody else has the same problem. Hoping I can at least get a snotty reply directing me to an existing post, possibly with a postscript informing me how lazy I am for not finding said post myself.
